Blondorexia Cured

Here are some nice options for brunettes that wish to be blonde without the maintenance and damaging effects of constant highlights and bleaching.

Pretty but not too light.

Recreate Collection and Antoinette Beender’s Punk Couture for Aveda

I don’t think anyone will be wearing this out anytime soon, but it’s really cool so I thought I’d post about it.

Antoinette Beenders is the Global Style Director for Aveda and has won countless awards for her original vision. I like her use of texture and shape in this collection.

And I just really like the new  Avdea Collection, and check out the clothes made of recycled goods.

Color Melting

I am so bored with my hair and I used to have these fun lighter pieces melted into my hair that I miss. What is color melting, you ask? It’s when to different colors are “melted” or blended together to create a smooth transition of color! It looks amazing basically and I want it back!

An awesome example

But more like this

I’m excited!!!!!

More Braids!!!!

I love braids so much!!! Especially since it’s been raining and my hair tends to frizz, it’s also great for when you don’t feel like washing your hair.

Mermaid Waves

I love the soft, sculpted look of mermaid waves. There is something incredibly beautiful and classic about them. I’ve been obsessing lately, mainly because with my hair, they are unachievable. Sad face.

There are a ton of ways you can get this look, I love Johnny Lavoy’s tutorial on how to get a more subtle look with hot rollers
